Mel Fatric Yan
Mel Fatric Yan is a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Leeds with over a decade of experience as a development practitioner in the Philippines. His expertise lies in education and youth development, environment and food systems, social entrepreneurship and inclusive business, and leadership and organizational development. He co-founded KA∙T∙ON in 2015, a volunteer-based program addressing high school dropout rates by providing free academic tutorial and life skills training. Mel also serves as a consultant to public and private organizations and is an alumnus of the Global Shapers Community, affiliated with the World Economic Forum.
