Countries and EQ

For example, some countries with collectivist cultures that prioritize social harmony, cooperation, and interpersonal relationships may emphasize the development of EQ skills, such as empathy, communication, and conflict resolution, as part of their educational systems or social norms. These countries may prioritize social and emotional learning (SEL) programs in schools and incorporate emotional intelligence training in various aspects of life, including family, workplace, and community settings.

However, it's important to note that the development of IQ and EQ is influenced by various factors, including individual differences, genetics, upbringing, education, and societal norms, and cannot be solely attributed to the culture or country of origin. Additionally, the concept of intelligence is complex and multifaceted, and there is ongoing research and debate in the field of psychology regarding the relative importance of IQ and EQ in different contexts and cultures.
